July challenge

Today sees the start of our July challenge and this months theme is a very seasonal one chosen by DT Faith who you can read about further down, it's....

Sun, Sea, Sand

or as always an Anything Goes option

You can go with just one of those elements or maybe include all three as some of the DT have done. The simple rule remains that there must be at least one stamped element on your entry to be eligible.

On offer for this months lucky winners are two prizes from Craft Stash of paper pads and stamps.

Here's a little bit about this months featured DT Faith:

I started card making many, many years ago, my first love was digital and PrintMaster. Then I had a copy of Photoshop, which I used to make cards for my family, I loved the fact I could design, print and send a card I had made. There was a Craft Fair a few miles from me, and I decided to attend. I saw stamping and embossing demonstrated and was hypnotised by it, so I bought a few stamps, ink, and a stamping block and came home, to find that I was useless at it, more being thrown away than used.

So back to digi. After a while, I gave my not used stamps away, Then I saw what, maybe? I could achieve on a TV crafting channel. This led to me subscribing to a magazine. A stamping platform was purchased after hearing good reports, and that is how I started stamping. However, not seriously until an offer to join the DT on We Love Stamping. I'm still learning, but loving it.

June winners and Top 3

Morning to you all, it's been a super busy month with some wonderful creations, our thanks to everyone who joined in and made it such a fun challenge.

Winners outside the UK: By claiming your prize you have agreed to accept any customs fees which may be applied within your own Country. Although all prizes are marked as gifts, we (WLS) will be unable to assist should that happen.

More floral inspiration

June challenge

Good morning and welcome to our June challenge, it's a rather special one as the challenge blog is 15 years old this month, although the name changed along the way some of the original Design Team are still here.

We thought the milestone deserved a bit of a celebration and we have a special giveaway with a lovely array of prizes for this months theme as selected by Brenda......

Any entries failing to do so will be marked as ineligible and/or deleted.

A bit about this months featured DT Brenda:

"I've crafted in one form or another since childhood, card making started purely by accident when a pack of shop purchased cards needed reconstructing. I soon discovered stamping which remains my passion with a bias towards a bit of inky grunge usually featuring Flowers, Nature or Fairies, cute and colouring is way outside my comfort zone.

For many years I demonstrated at craft shows and ran classes meeting like minded crafters, some of who remain close friends. Health prevents me doing this anymore but I am fortunate to be able to still craft and design for some wonderful companies with many types of crafting products as they enter the market.

Being on design teams and also running three challenges has allowed me to work alongside many talented crafters and enables me to visit blogs around the World to be constantly inspired by the diversity of styles. I always believe crafting is an ongoing learning curve and we are never expert in any one style or technique".
